Facilities Available at Our Testing Lab !
Laboratory facilities encompass the physical spaces, equipments, and resourses necessary for conducting scientific experiments, research, and analysis. These facilities can vary greatly depending on the type of laboratory and its focus. Common features include :
Testing Services
Major Equipments
We use advanced instruments to provide quality food and chemical testing services at our laboratory. Here are some of the main instruments we use in our laboratory.
Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) is a spectroanalytical procedure for the quantitative determination of chemical elements by free atoms in the gaseous state. Atomic absorption spectroscopy is based on absorption of light by free metallic ions.
HPLC stands for High Performance Liquid Chromatography, and is a technique used to separate different constituents of a compound or mixture using high pressure to push solvents through the column. It is the most widely used technique to identify, quantify and separate components of a mixture or compound.
Infrared spectroscopy is used widely in both research and industry as a simple and rapid technique for measurement and quality control in both organic and inorganic analysis.
The test for particulate contamination in parenteral preparations is a critical test and is a mandatory pharmacopoeial requirement. The pharmacopeias prescribe either a microscopic particle count or a light obscuration liquid particle counter, to carry out this test.
Particle size analysis, particle size measurement, or simply particle sizing, is the collective name of the technical procedures, or laboratory techniques which determines the size range, and/or the average, or mean size of the particles in a powder or liquid sample.
Water Activity Meter with Sensor LWAM-A10 is a single-point measurement unit with 0 to 0.980 aw of water activity (no condensing) measuring range and ± 0.015 aw measurement accuracy. The temperature range is from 0 to 50°C and offers ± 0.5°C measurement accuracy.
